Kay Patel named Businesswoman of the Year at the 2023 Asian Trader Awards

Nisa retailer Kay Patel has been named Businesswoman of the Year at this year’s Asian Trader awards.

Taking place on Tuesday, 7 November 2023 in central London, the 34th version of the awards celebrated the best of independent convenience retail.

Kay Patel, who operates a Nisa-partnered store Witley Village Store in Surrey, was recognised as Businesswoman of the Year following some market leading work in the industry.

Victoria Lockie, Head of Retail at Nisa, said: “Many congratulations to Kay on such a fabulous accolade. Kay is a super star and has demonstrated amazing resilience over the years, running a fantastic store through some really tough times. A brilliant evening at the Asian Trader awards!”
