A letter from Kate and Making a Difference Locally

Dear MADLers,

I wanted to send a personal message to all our Nisa retailers following some incredibly exciting news that I wanted to share with you.

Last night we were delighted to attend the Retail Industry Awards in London, where a number of fantastic Nisa retailers were shortlisted for awards. We’re thrilled to say that several saw success on the night, including Dike & Son, Highlands Group’s Childerley Gate forecourt, and Nisa Local Northfields’ Don Antony Manavalan – huge congratulations to all involved.

I’m also incredibly proud to share that Making a Difference Locally was awarded one of the highest honours of the night: the Outstanding Achievement Award!

We are so proud and humbled to be recognised in this way, and this award is recognition of every Nisa retailer, colleague and community group who gets involved in our work. This is a true team success and we are hugely grateful for everybody’s support.

MADL exists to support UK good causes and help our independent retailers to add social value to the communities they serve, and we couldn’t do what we do without you. We’ve spent the last year celebrating the charity’s 15th anniversary of supporting local communities across the UK; you’ve helped us raise a whopping £18 million to good causes over this period. 

I’d like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your participation in our fantastic charity. By partnering with us, you are not only helping to raise funds for local charities and community projects, but are also making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Your contributions are making a real difference in the lives of individuals, groups and families in your communities, and for that, we are truly grateful.

Supporting your community has never been more prevalent and the MADL team is here to help you. We know many of you have already built strong links with local groups and good causes, but if you’re unsure who to support with your store’s MADL funds, please get in touch.
